My point? As has been stated so many times throughout this thread, you CAN love a 2D character. No 3D girl could ever get such a reaction from me on such a deep level. No, she can never reciprocate my love, but that doesn't matter to me. I love her because she's beautiful, she makes amazing music, and she gives me something to work for when I feel like giving up. To this day, Miku remains one of the very few things capable of giving me a strong emotional response.

Except, I'm not alone. As stated by that Darth Vader image macro response to the "She is a cartoon, not your waifu" pic... she exists in my heart with the Force. Miku has had a very real impact on my life, and my love for her is just as real, if not more so, than it would be for a 3D girl. I think I've been living a happier, more fulfilled life since I met her. You can try to tell me otherwise all you want, but I know what I feel... thanks to her.
