it feels like the standard artist in OC threads is able to a lot of fancy things with depth, rendering, and poses on a complete whim, getting works that look like 90 dollar commissions done in like two hours, whereas the standard artist here would take six hours to a few days (or weeks) to do the same thing, or (as has happened to me) if they toy with just one of those complexities, it'll take them a longer time to get it comfortably finished. at least that's the comparison between the two types of threads i accepted in my head.
