I'm actually the same guy...
I started working on replacing the images. I use mostly stuff from cartoons and I wanted the graphics to go with the monster girl sprite sheet because I like the anime style. Still have to work on it though. It's hard finding images that preserve the original feeling.
Pic related is an example for the strange feast event.
