Any stories to share? Here's one that happened to me a month ago.
>level 40 at the time, come back home after looting a nefia
>just finished preparing for the Zeome fight, potions and chaos resist gear all laid out in the corner
>character is starving so I check my inventory for food
>first item is a partially identified (good) [raw] wakizashi
>decide to eat it since most raw equipment I find is lackluster, plus I want boosted stat growth
>Let's Ragnarok!
>maid dies in an instant, guard gets killed soon after, all of my pets die trying to fend off hell's army
>catsister's diary, evolution hearts, potions, and chaos resist gear on the floor all engulfed in flames
>barely make it out alive by praying to Yacatect and dimensional moving
>but hey increased str and con growth for 1500 turns
Had to load a previous save to unfuck my home which erased a day's worth of progress. After that I always take time to identify anything before I eat it.
