Is it that Yukari intentionally brings in Humans for Youkai to eat, or is it just a side effect of her border manipulation that creates gaps in the barrier that outsiders just happen to fall through on accident?

And what Youkai are doing the eating? Are we talking sentient, humanoid, intelligent Youkai like Kogasa, Mystia, Aya, etc, or are we talking random Youkai monsters like giant centipedes?

Is it just a few random outsider Humans, or are we talking hundreds or more per year? And by devoured by Youkai, do we mean literally torn limb from limb and eaten in a bloody manner, or are we talking their life force or something just drained away?

Given the way Gensokyo's residents react to Sumireko, it seems like the don't want to literally kill and eat her.

These are all questions that need to be answered.
