If you read any the guides, you'll figure out quickly they all outline the same basic roadmap
>learn kana
>learn grammar
>do some kind of basic vocabulary study
>immerse is content you enjoy, and mine words or phrases you encounter that are new to you
The main differences I've seen with the guides is what vocabulary deck you start off with, and what card format you use to mine.
