Shiki is a morally upright individual and a normal boy most of the time but he's such a fucking goofball with weird hobbies and passtimes that throw everyone in his house off the moment he gets comfortable because the thought he was laidback and mature rather than childish and energetic and playing pranks here and there but can still flip on a fucking dime and can be colder and even more disturbing than Ryougi if he wanted to. Not to mention his incredibly fucked up life and past and nihilistic yet optimistic view on life due to his near death experience on top of the subtle sociopathy he occasionally displays sometimes even in lax situations makes him possibly the hardest character to self-insert into

Aside from his shitty, OOC threat to Ciel that Nasu threw in there just for shock factor any rape scenes involving Shiki are him being possessed, manipulated, or literally him seeing what SHIKI is doing via their connection. Shiki is outright disgusted by rape, vomits when he sees SHIKI's dreams of it and nearly kills himself the one time he goes through with assaulting someone because of Roa because of the utter disgust and remorse even if it literally isn't his fault.

If actively trying to hunt down the vampire in your city who's killing and trying to turn the populace into his undead army while keeping someone you killed safe, facing an unholy amalgamation of 666 immortal lives on your own to avenge your classmate and innocent people who were eaten by him, spending literal days on end searching for his missing classmate just to uphold a nothing promise he was never obligated to against everyone's best wishes, uncovering the mysteries of his past and coming to grip with the tragedies surrounding both his blood family and his adoptive one and those affected by it out of his own will and desires isn't kino I don't know what to tell you.

Also Kagetsu Tohya since the situation is more mellow and we can see him more in his day to day life, he's a pretty chill, goofy, sweet, and fun dude to be around. Can be a bit of an ass from time to time but it for me it just adds to how human he is compared to the the other Type Moon protags despite possibly being the most 'broken' as a person out of them next to Shirou.

It depends on Alaya and the Age of Gods on the subterranean plane (when the Root is used as a Primordial-Murder style key for something akin to Grain/Pseudo-Spiritronic Moon Cell's Serial Phantasm). On a panhistory tree it all boils down to True Magic/Sorcery counter Counter Force, which isn't touched by True Dead Apostle Ancestors (True) (Fake) naturally.

It's all very fascinating.
