Patchouli seems to be the most powerful, or, at the very least, the one who has better control of magic. She can use all elements (arcane, fire, frost, water, etc), she also seems to be the smartest of the three (but I bet her common sense is pretty low)
Marisa seems the most cunning, and magically active of the three.
Alice is the most creative, and the wisest.

I doubt Marisa would have the patience to have an student. Patchouli would be tempting, but I wouldn't be paying visits to the SDM even if I got payed for it.

Alice. Marisa is too much of a free spirit to tie the knot easily, and Patchouli has strong vibes of being an uncaring person. Alice seems the most mature and balanced of the three: she will care a lot about you, unlike Patchy, but without letting her freedom or yours to get damaged, avoiding space problems in the future, and seems to be warm hearted but not explosively so, unlike Marisa
