Did you guys forget the great Touhou flood of 2009? /a/ was literally nothing but Touhou the entire couple of hours that /a/ is down. You forget that it only takes a couple of people from /jp/ to turn /a/ into chaos. I mean, look at what ONE post from KoG can do.

Imagine: People on /jp/ make a few threads on /a/ saying /jp/ is down. People on /a/ check, realize it's down, and join /jp/ by posting Touhou threads. Eventually, a janitor or mod deletes the thread, and people explode in rage.

This is why /jp/ can NEVER be deleted.

It's the same reason why FEMA keeps New Orleans alive.
