to me it's funny how hooking causes so much anger. to me it's just an easy way to look up a word. why would I self impose a huge interruption to my immersion to look up kanji by their radicals when I can just glance at my second monitor and know the reading without even a second's passing? and the next time I see the word I end up remembering its reading anyway. I've always done this and these days I hardly have to look at my second monitor. there are times where I'll go to look up a kanji/word and only then realize my clipboard inserter was turned off--that's how little the hook's presence is to me. it just seems like the autists here are masochists that like to waste their time.
