Interesting viewpoint to read about. Though it takes more time, I will often just briefly orally repeat some of the readings, and find that I'll sometimes get a few to click. In the case of the vocab, when I find that I can recognize content, I'll take a brief moment to have fun learning them. Maybe write them all out, or use one or two in a simple sentence. They'll often remain memorized as a result.

It might make more sense time-wise to just learn the kanji quickly one by one, but I enjoy spending a bit more time on my studies in this way. I don't have much of a strong vocab bank, but it's oddly satisfying to know some uncommon/less common or even obscure words from the get-go. I think I'll have a good time mining vocab. I sometimes question if I should just do it now.

That said, good luck, Anon. I hope we both find success in our studies with RTK.
