I know this sounds weird but it's not only limited to the way characters speak/the settings/etc. It seeps into the style of writing itself. It's hard to explain but chuunige writers all tend to write their prose in odd, strange ways (sometimes it could be considered exaggerated but it's not always that). One of the easier tells is that there's a tendency to use more obscure kanji (although I've seen this plenty outside of chuuni so this may just be a Japanese thing). It is, of course, a term invented on the internet so it's not like there's a strict criteria, but it's a useful term and encapsulates many things.

Pic related is an example from the first Demonbane game. If you've ever read/played it, this is just the beginning scene where Master Therion beats up on Al. However, the writing style here is very distinctively chuuni. All this text is just describing gunshots and using language like "刻まる" and "怪異は起きた" in this context is atypical.

Well I was originally just half shitposting so impossible isn't really accurate. I would consider it extremely difficult though.
