I don't have any experience with witches but I've enjoyed my Valkyries company a lot. If I don't kill something by the time she reaches said monster she'll make sure it's deader than dead most of the time. She acts as my tank but she can bulldoze enemies just as well.

While I don't consider my Exile cute I still like her all the same. Hooves, three eyes, and all. In normal dungeons she tends to kill things before my Valkyrie ever gets to them. The joys of range and magic I guess. Only in awakened dungeons and the void will she start running into trouble like in the pic provided of a lv 572 awakened dungeon. All things considered though, she sometimes puts out a decent amount of damage(if you add it all up) before my Valkyrie closes the distance and puts an end to the monster. My exile acts as backup damage range damage.

Still working on building up my exile but I'm wondering what pet I should train up next. I'm thinking of getting an inner god as a pet and training them up. I kind of want to see how hard it is to train a pet with high ini values for myself which I suspect these inner gods to have.

I haven't really messed around with the new features of Elona Custom yet but with the ability to teach your pet spells and abilities I wonder if you can just reteach abilities or have pets learn something similar if they're losing stuff during evolution. Like would cheer be a good substitute for boost? I think the last time I checked cheer was something you can now teach to a pet. I could be wrong though.
