guy from last photo post who has been living here for a minute: amerikajin get shit on hard but old europeans are worse than old yanks. heard somebody the other day at the imperial garden say this wasn't a "real Japanese garden" and that they'd pictured it differently. it's in fucking Japan, what more do you want?
Young people vary wildly and country doesn't matter, it's mostly whether or not they're a dipshit or not regardless of nationality. If somebody comes dressed as a normal person and even attempts to speak Japanese people are nicer here than literally anywhere else i've been to, but if you show up wearing hiking gear and sunglasses in fucking Shimokitazawa and you vlog the whole time people are gonna treat you like an asshole (because you are an asshole, why are you wearing hiking gear?)
