You would be lying to yourself if you insisted that this stuff actually has this much variety that literally anyone would differentiate by genre. Vocaloid is Vocaloid, and 90% of the songs in Project Diva games consist of very similar sounding jpop that at best has a few minor twists to its instrumentals to make it sound unique.

Not only that, but for a game that only has like 40 songs, there are a lot of repeating artists, like ryo, wowaka and livetune. And they generally stick to one style of music.

There have been a few Vocaloid threads on /mu/ before that I've seen, however it's usually just the same few albums that are "acceptable" to like because of their genre (mathrock, shoegaze, etc). They usually don't last very long since it's hard to discuss chinese animu robot music while pretending to be an elitist music conoisseur to fit in with the rest of the board, you know.

Also, imposing the limitation of discussing "music" specifically just hinders discussion artificially since Vocaloid encompasses so much more than that (even though /mu/ does have its fair share of derailed band/singer threads, but not on this scope).

In the end, keeping the thread here keeps the topics of discussion more open ended and lets people talk about whatever they want in relation to Vocaloid like anon said here >>16529496

Does anyone have any experience with the Warfield @ SF. It wasn't until AFTER I bought my 8pm VIP tickets where I found out it's near the fucking Tenderloin. Also from reading horror stories online, the staff doesn't seem nice...
