Ended up getting blonde Reisen at 120 pulls, but the problem is I have only 2 UFES dolls available to me and one of those is already in my inventory. I've got the cubes to go full spark for a dupe or hopefully two but I've been sitting on the fence about it for the past week or so because it also kind of seems like a waste. I've still got another week to pick at it with the "free" 1pulls here and there but I'd like a second opinion at least.

The real question is why would someone do this for fucking Touhou, of all things? The game translation community is so small I could name dozens of people off the top of my head even excluding anons and all this guys done is excommunicate himself. And that stuff goes really really far when an entire communities translators talk behind the scenes to keep you from getting jobs, which spreads to other communities, and next thing you know you're stuck translating shitty isekai anime for Yet Another Simulpubber That Doesn't Pay Translators for the next 10 years of your life.

PCB - having occasinal autobomb is really nice because I can just relax and focus on dodging without thinking about bombs.
IN - familiar system is amazing and should've become Touhou's staple feature. I have no idea why ZUN dismissed it as one-off gimmick. It makes stages much more dynamic and adds a bit of variety to spellcards. Also I wish duos became a staple too. Amazing game with lots of cool features and replayability.
SA - grazing for items vacuum is nice but I ended up barely utilizing it (I played ReimuB though). I think it would've been nice to combine it with LoLK's graze freeze.
UFO - ufos are INCREDIBLY frustrating and annoying but at least this system is engaging unlike its shitty WBaWC iteration.
TD - garbage pointless system but at least it's not as intrusive. Also separating gimmick pickups from 2hu's stable PoC mechanic is a stupid idea.
DDC - it went the opposite route and made PoC the gimmick and I love it. This game taught me to release shift more often. Constantly zooming between top and bottom of the screen and not just when it's safe made the game very fun and dynamic.
LoLK - graze-freeze causes some visibility issues. Farming resources with grazing is... fine. Point-device mode is great. Without being able to skip much of the game with bombs it feels a lot "cleaner" that regular 1cc while also being more chill because you can retry as much as you can.
HSiFS - arlight gimmick, straightforward and satisfying, nice to see good old extends for score coming back.
WBaWC - garbage, less frustrating than UFO but also less engaging, it feels like a busywork.
UM - cards system is amazing, adds fuckoton of replayability. I didn't expect for roguelike progression to fit so nicely into shmup gameplay. I think main reason it worked so well is how many cards affecting your resource management there is. They ended up altering feel and pacing of the game much more than shot options or bullet-erasing cards. Also having alt endings is nice.

I'd say IN and UM are the winners with how they add immense amounts of replay value without messing with core gameplay.

I'm used to think about shmups as ancient genre but their golden age is almost same timeframe as FPS.
