That's a silly, defeatist and poisonous mentality that has lead to the ironic hellscape we see today, where conversation and threads are only hollow posturing and nothing is really being said. Where anything sincere or different gets buried by lulzy but stale groupthink. It is far better and more rewarding to make an effort to be genuine, even when surrounded by shit.
