don't bother with ca if your enjoyment of a show is influenced by the darkness of its color palette, at least to that extent, and whether or not it has constant action.

seriously there's no commentary on the story telling or anything it's just "wow the style is dark in this one so much soul i love it". the #1 indicator of a dumbass hxh "fan" is whether all they can talk about is how cool 99 looks. there's probably a dozen other anime with that animation style in the 90s so go watch them and jerk off about the cool colors on the screen instead of the story.
