I think the argument is getting muddled.

Yasu had some objective shittiness to her/his life, as all WTC characters usually do.

The question is this; do her circumstances really make cold blooded murder acceptable?

I think not, I think the drama of her life is definitely bad, and I can feel for her, but I can't say I feel for her for making the "brave" choice of slaughtering everyone.
