I used to do that but dungeon diving all by myself started to get lonely and so I started to heavily train and buff my pets.
My stat potential is ridiculous and my innate resistances are maxed so I thought it was time to put more effort into pets. That's my main focus now

It's actually not that hard if you have a steady stream of potions of potential from multiple invested magic shops.
Been buffing their resistances with corpses and herbed food generally will increase ALL of their stats, even speed. So get yourself a herb farm. Do some harvest time quests for seeds and get the Statue of Kumiromi for a steady supply of herb seeds. Train their attributes with blessed potions of potential and skills via the doujou. Try to put the herbs in top tier food like steak, omelets, or sushi, it will increase the attribute bonuses I think.
And of course give them those excellent leftover armor/weapons that you have been saving.

Having my team take on level 60 dungeons while I just walk around is a good feeling. So is waking up in a dungeon with breakfast made by my pets. Their breakfasts are free food and gives attribute bonuses to everyone in your party. Party Time Quests also give me shitloads of gold and music tickets via Ensemble.

Currently I got a Black Cat Thief with dual wielding, my original pet Little Girl Warrior, now a Valkyrie, and a Lazy Older Sister Gunner. Eventually I'd like to evolve my Black Cat into a Black Catsister and give her shadowstep, give my Valkyrie healing spells, and my Lazy Sister Zeroshoot via AP.

Sure, I could take on much higher level dungeons by myself, but I'd like to make my pets a vital part of my adventuring experience. I think they may have the potential to even surpass myself with proper training, as their bonuses and growth exceed that of the player.

Also, continuously feeding my pets high-leveled herbed meals for leveling and having them occasionally gain weight strangely excited me...
