Will there ever be another major conventional war?

What with the global economy and how connected everyone is. We've been fighting primitive nations for such a long time, I can't imagine what it would be like to fight a real military from an actually civilized nation.

Wouldn't it be somewhat hard to rally the same kind of nationalist war effort support that we had back in WW2 when you can just load up the internet and see a couple dozen facebook or youtube posts with some little Chinese or Russian girl crying about how a bomb went off in her backyard and killed her brother, mother, and pet puppy.

I just don't see how you could build up the dehumanization needed to get public support. It's easy with these primitive countries since they don't have internet and the propaganda will work nearly as good as it had in the past.

For example, this kind of propaganda would never work in today's world.

If i got to Japan what should i watch out for? Apart from savage Japs
