Well it's not really bombing constantly. In my case I think it's a max of 5 life items I got from intentionally bombing for a 2.0, with a lot of screw ups.
I'm mostly trying to convince that the change of score mechanics and adding of "gimmicks" is actually good, and keeps the series from being a total copy-paste of "move & shoot." This is from the point of view of a Normal player of course. I've seen some Lunatic players bitching about the screen flip, but maybe they can also get better and overcome it instead of complaining.
