Calli is still based but I don't think I can actually watch her anymore. I tried, I really did. At first, I was drawn to her super hard because she's very relatable and reminds me strongly of myself. Her rags-to-riches story is inspiring and cathartic, and I'm very happy that she's succeeding. I wish I could have a taste

However, her actual streams? I hate her streams so god damn much. The ~idea~ of a streamer who understands me and shares my tastes and interests is really appealing — until I remember that I don't like myself. I'm cringe. I'm a downer crybaby. My depression is very poorly veiled. I work too hard and sleep too late and it makes me irritable and makes everyone hate me but I can't just stop.

Reminds me of relationships from long ago, high school shit where we paired up just because we liked the same music or some shit. But then we'd realize that 2 of the same person are actually a bad pair — you don't complete each other, you just amplify the flaws you both have. Better as friends so you don't have to see each other all the time.
