the most famous example is that female american artist who uploaded her songs to whatever piracy service was popular at the time, but each track was instead just a recording of her saying something like "this is a stolen piece of music", or something along those lines. i can't seem to remember what artist did it unfortunately.

one of my absolute favorite albums has a flower song on it towards the end. hope sound by tilt-six is an absolute must-listen, if you haven't already.
