TW is pretty lucky in that it has two active spriters, even then their styles can clash a bit when placed next to each other (and their nude bodies are kind of glued together at times)
smaller projects that can't get an artfag to do that stuff will have to require on other ways to get a somewhat cohesive-looking stuff, though it's a bunch of work to simulate an artstyle regardless
