Their entire body is decorated with bone parts, but since her arm looks so spiky and intimidating, I felt like normal human bones would be really bland. So with the headdress and waist skeleton accessory I really wanted to strike an "oni warrior" image, with the headdress having oni-like horns, and the part on her forehead imitating a skull and jaws, combined with the part around her neck representing the lower jaw.
Her very distinctive abnormal arm is designed after a combination of ribs, jawbones and teeth.
An arm like that could of course be inconvenient during daily life, and it seems like she can turn it into a regular arm normally.
It seems like that arm is a partial release of a monstrous transformation, used for battle, similarly to how Dragons can transform into their forms of old, before the age of the current Demon Lord.
