The impossible requests? In the original story she basically just made them up to try to get rid of some suitors. After arriving on earth the rumors of her otherworldly beauty began to spread and she was beset by them. Everyone throughout the country with any knowledge of affairs knew of her, and many struggled to get a look.

Her "father" - the bamboo cutter who found her and kept her in his household, for which the moon surreptitiously enriched him with gold - encouraged her to find a husband since he feared for her well-being after his death. She refused to even consider. Eventually, five candidates of substantially greater social stature than the old man, all with reputations as renowned skirt-chasers, called upon her to try to cement their reputations by wooing the most beautiful woman in the country. The old man convinced Kaguya that he could not just turn them away, as he believed all of them, on top of being his superiors in class, would make suitable matches. Hence the impossible requests she put to them, none of which any even came close to fulfilling. They all either died or humiliated themselves, and the old man relented.

She did strike up a platonic relationship with the Emperor (either Tenmu or Monmu, probably the latter) and expressed some interest in him, though perhaps not sincerely, that was confounded by the circumstances. The Emperor, at any rate, was a descendant of Amaterasu, the sister of Tsukuyomi (the current lord of the moon and likely one of Kaguya's close ancestors in Touhou, god of the moon in traditional mythology), so that match wouldn't necessarily have been as unappealing to her.

To be honest, that life would probably demand considerable mental stamina and an excess of guile and social talent. If you weren't sufficiently intellectually challenging as a person to be interesting to an alien from the moon then there's precedent to suggest that eventually you'd just become her plaything.
