Actually, that is my bad. The english patch uses "Unnatural Phenomenon" which I've never really related to her ability, since it's a bit of an odd translation in the first place (and because she doesn't have any hints about her ability to begin with). There also is her character title, "the aforementioned anomalies-strength-disorder-spiritquot;, which I forgot about. Can you name any other places where it's mentioned though? Because...

The point is that using "her ability is magical" doesn't work as an explanation/excuse since there's no reference material for her ability. There isn't any indication of what it does or if it's even anything besides being a reference to Confucius. I see how you get the elegance thing from not even drop, but it's pretty clear why she's portrayed as a strong and gutsy character. SoPM outright confirms this on all levels, if you want to go read her article.
