Hata-tan just seems too dark and depressing. Hatate seems like the girl you dream about every time you saw her in math class always a smile on her face but you never got a chance to meet because she spends her free time in the press club while you were part of the go-home club knowin she was out of your league.

Still Hatate. I don't know why either, I have lots of favorites, but she always grabs my attention. The cuteness?

Aya is an excellent reporter but she is completely bereft of ethics and decency; she aggravates situations in order to create more dramatic stories, libels her subjects, and openly injects her own biases into her articles without disclosing them as her own opinion.

Hatate's philosophy of writing balanced articles that strive to give the reader a deeper and more nuanced view of the subject is to be commended, but to be quite frank "staying at home all day and using the Gensokyo equivalent of Google's image search service to research her articles" means that she is quite shit at effectively executing her job.

Would probably end up paying Hatate for the same reason as >>9568744 gave

On a semi-related note I wonder how many years it will be before someone finds the Touhou references I hid in all of the newspaper articles I wrote last year/will write this semester
