While Mori and Gura do still both attempt to stick to character, in contrast to everyone else who've more or less dropped their gimmick (except Kiara doing death/reincarnation/phoenix jokes), they approach it from different angles. Mori uses her character background to cleverly disguise her personal life:
>on a hiatus from reaping = hiatus on producing room mate content
>scythe swinging lessons = teaching
>the underworld = japan
Whereas Gura uses it to deflect any personal questions:

>Electronics don't work underwater so I never got to play video games as a kid.
