I was going to say those thick short eyebrows are off-model, but actually they're on model, it's just the animators didn't draw them like that most of the time. But checking Watanabe's art, it's matches up.

>I literally said what Rika learned was to trust her friends, but she didn't learn anything about dealing with Satoko's stubbornness problem which is what we were talking about in the first place.
She learns to take initiative though, which should lead to solving the issue when Satoko retracts herself. Also, Satoko's problem in Gou/Sotsu anime isn't really the same as the one in the past. She sees Rika as an idiot who's making a dumb choice and will regret it soon, and when that doesn't happen, suddenly lashes out and blames Rika for everything that's going wrong there. This is nothing like when she blamed herself for Satoshi and actively punished herself for it. So, it's not like that specific incident would even help.

Eh, I really don't think the anime's portrayal of Satoko made much sense though. She spent all this effort studying for years to get there, and yet in the first day of classes was already telling herself Rika soon would give up and they could leave.

Satoko trying and failing makes much more sense considering all the effort she put to get there in the first place.

I mean, this will be a first step, but it's clear she isn't in "fuck Rika!" mode yet like you're saying.

>for the third time, it's literally just him mixing events up like he's always done since Gou. remember how much he changed Tataridamashi? remember how it didn't matter in the end? same principle.
Tomato got a Story Composition credit now that he didn't have before though. I really don't think something like that would be happening for no reason. Obviously we still will get a conflict growing between Satoko and Rika and that will lead to Satoko looping, since that's all kind of basic for the story, but I don't think the developments leading to the killing game will just follow the anime.

>all that happened in the anime was that Rika got absorbed into her new life which is an understandable flaw
To the point of quickly forgetting the one person she considered closer to her than Hanyuu? Not even visiting her when she disappears from class for days?

>She didn't want her to drop out
Anime Satoko outright said she thought it was just a phase and soon Rika would see things like her. And this was in the first day of classes.

She resorts to the trap once she starts thinking that St.Lucia is warping Rika and she needs to bring back the original Rika.
