We don't leave our houses and don't watch the news. Too busy fapping to Touhous. We are just in our own little worlds, here on /jp/.
Most of us are experienced enough with the internet and sharing to get around anything the guberment might throw at us. And it's not like they can dish out copyright stuff on Japanese media.
