Subarashiki Hibi is a babby's first VN of the worst kind. It's a bad story, a clusterfuck of setting and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive rape faggotry and DEEP. The NEET anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.

However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for real deal kids who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The bullies all trying their hardest to look cool, the different kinds of drama, the peculiar, colorful costumes, the whole "tripping out" faggotry and everything about the Subarashiki Hibi world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the angst-ridden character backgrounds, emphasis on heroism, and the overall preachiness of the whole story makes it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes normals and underage retards obsessed with cartoons eat this shit right the fuck up.

Subarashiki Hibi is basically THE series to attract the most hated kinds of (self-proclaimed) otaku known to /jp/, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of this franchise and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Subahibi threads ever encourage the real deal fags to show their faces here.

Do you have a sibling with a 3DPD girlfriend/waifu?

I do...

What should I do?

SubaHibi takes the all-time record for utterly and completely betraying my expectations of a good eroge.

This game is in serious need of pruning. The infamous bullying scenes in particular should be half their current length if not shorter, and there seems to be a constant supply of dialogues which are interesting but just long-winded enough to get annoying. There are also several times when you're forced to rewatch a scene from another character's perspective, and either nothing new is added or it was already quite obvious to me what would be different. Finally, one part of the game got no explanation at all despite very thorough explanations for everything else.

All of the truly severe cases of bloat are easy enough to identify that you can just ctrl them without hesitation.

There is almost no philosophy whatsoever in the entirety of the story, and the book quotes are sparse after the prologue, acting primarily as something for characters to talk about once in a long while between more important subplots. You need not understand nor have read any of the books SubaHibi references in order to understand the entirety of SubaHibi.

P.S.: I also feel like mentioning that the general retardation people have shown when discussing this game is not improving its odds of getting a translation.
