Don't forget that's when the hello project universe was mainly subgroups made up of members from morning musume. No kids yet. The golden era had those subgroups like petitmoni, minimoni, tampopo, country musume, coconuts musume, Melon Kinenbi, and the summer shuffles. Ayaya and Miki Fujimoto(pre gen 6) were also pretty big solo acts. It Alalso had the hello morning to show and a few movies.

I never really acknowledge Aika as a "real" member even though I was into MM at the time. So I guess the generation before her, although I did listen to a few singles here and there but completely lost interest in successive gens. I really liked Junjun and Linlin
