When vocabulary mining, how do you decide which words to save? It seems pointless to add too common words since you will most likely come across them often enough anyway, but I also don't want to waste time on vocabulary I'll never need.

This is my biggest obstacle to just consuming native materials currently. Reading without adding anything to my deck feels like a wasted opportunity. Do you just add all new words you come across and delete useless shit later?
