>whether or not it should be weird
That thing here is the real problem. In the West it's considered weird for someone to mostly like things from Japan.

Look at an earlier comment here : >>15095870
>excluding the most general statements of "reading" or "watching tv/movies"
Why would these two things be excluded? Because they're considered "normal"? "Standard"? And whenever someone asks these questions they're called edgy.

I could also quote all the comments talking about growing out of anime etc, but as far as I know it's rare to hear people say "I grew out of Hollywood movies" or "I grew out of US series" although in the end, in both cases, they're just hobbies. It's as if people are instinctively afraid of deviating from what the majority thinks is normal and accepted.

>so who gives a shit
But yeah, indeed, who gives a shit. I was born with a controller in my hands, games from Japan and would watch anime from Japan. I feel much more at home with these things than with jewish shill propaganda movies and badly acted series. To me those are the things that are "normal" to me and that make me happy. At this point there's no further debate to have.

My post is probably unnecessarily aggressive but I still felt like typing these things out.
