People compare it to Priconne mostly for two reasons. The first is that it's made by Techcross, who copied Granblue mechanics from Cygames to make Kamihime. And the second is the game also has top-tier animations while being an autobattler.

In reality the only thing they have in common is being an autobattler. But they're still very different. Priconne is full realtime, with everyone punching everything in the middle of the screen at the same time, activating their skills automatically. Your only input is activating union bursts(special atttacks) when they are ready.
Unitia is semi turn-based. While characters act in real time, they only act 1 at a time and you can see the turn order. You also cannot activate skills out of order. When you click the skill you need to wait until your character gets a turn to cast it.

Unitia also has more mechanics than Princess Connect. Like blocks, multiattacks, counterattacks, oracle assist.
