I mean you can still create ideas on your own, I don't see what's the problem. The point of a commission is that someone likes your style and wants to see their idea draw by you.

In my case I love drawing hentai so I always give my 100% effort on it so it looks great and different of the rest, expecially if it is an idea that I like (in this case, a commission)
