PSA for anyone who couldn't already tell by the translator's tragic grasp of English in his blogposts and by the fact that the autistic hapa is involved in any capacity, the Akatsuki no Goei translation effort is a hackjob piece of garbage. I don't usually like to bash on fantls, especially with how bad official ones often are, but this is easily worse than the likes of Eustia or Daitoshokan.
With just the first scene it's already clear how poor the translator's command of both English and Japanese is. We have the constant failure to understand (let alone properly convey) Japanese expressions, the juvenile rewriting of narration, and the arbitrary deletion and even addition(?) of descriptions, all complimented with a pathetic attempt at QC done by subhumans who apparently don't even know English. Pic related has a little bit of everything and it all fits into a single backlog screen! How many errors can you spot?
Where does it say anything about the men being dressed in black? Don't know what 手柄を焦る means? Delete it and go with "retards"! And be sure to add in some em dashes wherever you can to look smart! "I hope my "QCers" know how to use commas, because I sure don't." (spoiler: they don't either)

Skipping forward in the game proves no better. The script honestly feels rewritten in the vein of a 12 year old's book report, with the translator having a strange obsession with randomly inserting profanity seemingly wherever he can. I hope you like your memes too! "Like a boss." "I swear on me mum." Overall, the English is much, for lack of a better word, "dumber," than its Japanese equivalent, but I can't really say I expected any better.
