I'm not quite sure if I understand this ちゃう. Is it representing "「誰も生きてはいない」" like I think it is, and if so what is the は actually doing? Could it be describing a cause and effect relationiship like "anybody who's alive won't be there", or is it just that other kind of は usage where it's inserted into the middle of a phrase for contrast or emphasis?
