Are all decent enough resources to learn how to write. Editing however, is a completely different beast that I cannot offer adequate help with. About all I understand about that is reading back what you wrote in your story and ironing out the kinks to make it flow better.

Some general advice ( Which I already broke at least once )...

Try to minimize the length of your sentences. A sentence of about fifteen words or less is more than adequate. Avoid adverbs like the fucking plague. Avoid purple prose if you can help it ( i.e. flowery language ), if it's cold we don't need have you describing Satan's ballsack as the hairs go crystalline in Cocytus. Show vs. Tell is the most important part. You'll get far more mileage out of using visual sentences versus shit like "Bob felt scared" or the like.

Use a fucking thesaurus but in moderation. Know the context of your words, because so help me God if I see one more motherfucker use the words "turgid" and "tallywhacker" to describe somebody's penis again I'm going to shank somebody.
