Losing hair is just from a lower-quality wig.

You can use any wig, but the wig cap and straps can stain the head really badly if they are black, blue or otherwise dark. Some wigs have white or beige caps that may not stain (like those that doll manufacturers use/sell). Otherwise you can put a protective cap underneath
