The compass is the true boss there. I got mine done after a few tries. As long as the DD dodges the first two nodes and hits the boss node, it'll be guaranteed clear, since the boss node is easy and DD will wreck it at night battle. Pic is my 3-2 clear fleet. I think the hardest maps so far were 2-4 and 4-4. I haven't tried 5-2 yet, though.
