Did you know that not all arachnids are spiders?
"True" spiders have a basic structure: front and rear body parts (called the prosoma and opisthosoma respectively) are joined but distinct from each other
They also all have venomous "fangs", walking legs of the same size and produce silk. Scorpions, mites, skate spiders and other arachnids do not fit this description, so they are not considered spiders (order Araneae).

Did you know that female spiders can carry more than 3,000 eggs at one time?

These eggs are housed in one or more silk sacks. The level of care provided by a female spider varies by species.
Some females will die shortly after carrying the eggs, while others will carry their spiderlings on their backs or share their prey with them.
