Photography. The way some people can make the dolls look as if they are alive, without them needing to be people dressed up as dolls. More poseable than fig, less creepy than kig.

Although I cannot stand the way doll joints look so I could never own any of my own. Also most of the big volks or dolfies or whatever they're called and the ones that look like them are scary as hell to me. I don't like those ones with the life-like breasts either.

I just like the ex-cute types and the ones that resemble them.

Except this doll. I want to marry this doll.
