Most of that is just fan stuff, though my speculation would be the same as well.

If you count the Inaba manga as canon or at least semi-canon, Eirin does appreciate Udonge for all of her hard work and does genuinely like her, even if her punishments are quick and severe (Udonge says that sometimes she's stuck in bed for days at a time!).

All in all, I'd still say they're my two favourites, I would like to see more dialogue between the two, perhaps as a team in one of the Danmaku games.

Is it just me or Eirin's personality is actually much worse than Watatsukis?

They are spoiled and think they are better than anyone. Pretty harmless, and I bet they are fun once you get to know them.

While Eirin is just an evil bitch.
