maybe I was doing something really wrong but I got completely stuck once the robot city appeared and I went to investigate it I could finish every random encounter on the first turn but once I got to the boss it was completely destroying my party and triggering the bad ending where the catgirl gets raped. The same thing happened in pretty much every following quest.

Brave was the anniversary game and they got experimental with it. I don't think anyone liked the simplistic gameplay, not to mention that compared to the previous games there was a lot less content and the Chaos route was pretty much just an ending.
