I feel like this has to be bait because the themes of Umineko are by no means subtle, and it's sort of tiresome to discuss the exact same things for eight years, but fine, I guess I'll bite. Umineko is a study of the relationship between truth and fiction, the possibility of knowledge, the role of fantasy and faith in coping with and recovering from trauma, and an analysis of the aims and axioms of mystery as a genre, especially in regards to the relationship of trust between the reader and the author. Do you need more help for your homework assignment or will this do?
