I recommend not using any API links at all and just logging in as usual and playing the game that way.

The need for API/OSAPI links is to get around having to constantly log in (so your skipping 3 clicks?) or to not use a VPN (which KCV has made obsolete) and that to me is just not much of a pain when you only need to log in and play. Paranoia is the only thing I see people bringing up to counter it.
