>was expecting a crowd to consist of 99% older japanese men like at torahime/graduation (before coming to japan i thought they'd be creepy and autistic but the ones who came up to me at least just want to talk about what i like about japan and drink beer/smoke cigarettes)
>the demographic was completely different this time
>large groups of highschool or younger kids, and mostly female
>i am a normie so i didn't care, it was just like being at any other large social event

>one group of like 6-7 highschool kids comes up to us and starts bullying him in broken english but because of his poor grasp on japanese he can't understand them laughing to each other about him and thinks they are trying to be friends
>one of the girls starts trying to make fun of me too but i didn't do anything wrong and it also looked like she was just trying to fit in
>she was so awkward that i felt bad for her

>had no idea how to respond to this (after i got back to the hotel i realized that i should have imagined what it's like to be a bully and then i would have been able to come up with a witty comeback)
